My wife sprained her ankle pretty bad yesterday, and she’s having a tough time getting around on a gimpy leg. So...I went into the woods and found a dead ash tree just the right size, and made her a cane to help.
Not too bad for less than an hours work. I might put a coat of varnish on it this weekend.

Looks good. I hope she doesnt need it long enough to justify the varnish. Ive got a slightly larger than a baseball bat sized bit by my bed which is other than littles knives the only "weapon" I own!
